Privacy policy

Last updated: 27 September 2026

Plain summary. We collect as little as we can: no account is required to read anything here, our analytics do not use cookies or track individual people, and we do not sell reader data. This page describes our current practices in plain language and is not legal advice.

Information we collect

  • Automatically, in aggregate: pages visited, referring site, browser type and approximate region — see "Analytics" below.
  • Anonymous click logs: when you tap a product or retailer link, we record which article you came from, which product link was tapped and the time. We do not record your IP address or anything that identifies you.
  • Voluntarily: your name and email address if you contact us or subscribe.
  • Cookies: we set no cookies of our own. See "Cookies and analytics" below.

How we use it

  • To answer your messages and improve the site
  • To understand which guides are useful and which product links readers actually follow
  • To detect and prevent abuse

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no first-party cookies. Visitor statistics are collected with Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-focused tool that does not use cookies, does not fingerprint devices and does not track individual visitors across sites. It provides only aggregated counts such as page views, referrers and approximate country-level regions. You can read Cloudflare's description of the data it processes in the Cloudflare Web Analytics documentation.

Separately, when you tap a product or retailer link, the click passes through a short redirect on our own domain (/go/) so we can count it. The log entry contains only the article path, the product link tapped and a timestamp — no IP address, no user account, no cookie. We use these counts to understand which recommendations are useful; individual entries are kept for about 90 days and then deleted automatically.

Advertising (planned, not active)

We currently show no display advertising. If we join an advertising network such as Google AdSense in the future, this section will be updated before ads go live. In that case:

  • Google and its partners would use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
  • You could opt out of personalised advertising at any time via Google's Ads Settings, or via the industry opt-out page at aboutads.info/choices.
  • Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland would be shown a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) before any personalised ads are served, and could choose non-personalised ads instead.

Affiliate links

As of the date above, product links on this site are plain reference links and we earn no commission from them — see our affiliate disclosure. If affiliate programmes are added later, clicking such a link may set a cookie on the retailer's site so a commission can be attributed; that page will be updated first and the links themselves will be marked. We never sell your data.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information we hold about you by emailing z56846216@gmail.com. Because our analytics and click logs are not tied to any identifier, the personal data we can look up is generally limited to messages you have sent us yourself.

Changes

Material changes to this policy will be noted on this page with an updated date.
